Nossa Senhora da Piedade Capela 1625

The design on the ceiling clearly does not match the Corinthian interior. On closer inspection, it consists of a huge stone slab, covered with white paint, but which reveals a design and shape reminiscent of the only surviving Kadamba stone temple at Tambdi Surla. Similarly, the small window made of stone is clearly out of place skillfully adorned as it is with Hindu motifs.
